How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to provide and improve the app experience. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising purposes.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the app:

• OpenAI — processes images for expiry date and product detection. Images are sent to OpenAI's API and deleted immediately after analysis.
• Supabase — stores your account and pantry data on servers in the European Union.
• Superwall — manages subscriptions and may process limited usage data.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

Payments

All payments are handled by Apple. We do not collect or store any payment information.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@tryshelflife.com. You can also delete your account directly from within the app.

Children

The app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
